WATERS MODEL 1836 FLINTLOCK MARTIAL PISTOL. NSN. 56 Cal. 8-12” rnd bbl. Marked “A. WATERS / MILBURY. MS. / 1837” on the lockplate in front of the hammer, and ‘US / JM / P” at the left rear of the bbl with various inspector initials on different parts. The rear triggerguard tang is bent and its screw is stripped. The lock has been reconverted using new parts. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned. Stock has a small crack at rear of bbl and has usual handling marks. Mechanically good. Wm. Hancock Collection 4-58614 (800-1,200)
