8″ GERMAN PAPIER MACHE SANTA SQUEAK TOY. Early 20th century Santa with bellows within his body. When one would depress Santa the squeaking mechanism would be activated. Originally having a rabbit beard (lacking) this jolly old Saint Nick also originally had a wicker basket on his back, of which remnants remain. It does, however, still retain its original FAO Schwartz label on the bottom. SIZE: 8″ tall. CONDITION: Overall condition is poor to fair. 1-7821 (300-500)
