FABULOUS ALL-ORIGINAL GERMAN SANTA CANDY CONTAINER. Having spent many years in a private collection, this outstanding example, also known as the “stuffed hat” Santa, wears his long red felt coat trimmed in white fur. His composition face, full of expression is complemented by a rabbit fur beard. He holds a feather tree in his extended right hand and an embossed tin and glass lantern at his side. He stands on a snowy mica wooden base, and lifts to reveal a cardboard container for sweets. SIZE: 22″ t. CONDITION: Some crazing to hands and boots, some light staining to coat trim, overall very good. 1-8129 (4,000-6,000)
