PAINTING OF BULL MOOSE BY H. L. HASTINGS. Hastings, a well-known and listed illustrator was famous for sporting, western and animal related paintings. The focal point of this painting is a majestic Bull Moose standing before a stream. Two pintail ducks flying off the stream, in the background is a snow-capped mountain all in a fall landscape. The painting is signed in the lower right, but the signature is much rubbed and difficult to read. SIZE: 24” wide x 19-1/2” high. CONDITION: Signature difficult to read. Painting has been cleaned and relined at one time. 4-50283 (1,750-2,000)
