*FABRIQUE NATIONALE SIDE LOCK EJECTOR GAME GUN. SN 2681. Cal. 12ga. Double triggers. Automatic safety. 27-1/2″ Chopper lump steel bbls have a matted concave high game rib, and are marked “Fabrique Nationale d’Armes de Guerre” on the right bbl, and “Herstal Belgique” on the left. Action flats have Belgian nitro proofs w/ 2-3/4″ chambers. Bottoms of bbls are stamped “Demi Bloc” and “Acier Special A Faul ????” w/ bores at 18.4mm and chokes at 18.3. Action has dual under lugs, bushed strikers, and Purdey style hidden third fastener, and is engraved w/ rose and scroll and relief engraved acanthus fences. “S” is inlaid in gold in front of safety button. SN “2681” is on trigger guard. Nicely figured and marbled French walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-5/8″ over a coarsely checkered wood butt. Grip is very finely checkered at 32 LPI, w/ double line border. Beaver tail forend has an Anson release, wood and checkering to match buttstock. Bore diameter: left -.729, right -.727. Bore restrictions: left -.042, right -.019. Wall thickness: left -.020, right -.027. Drop at heel: 2-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 15.3oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 97% of a good quality re-black, silvering at muzzles, and contact points of forend. Bores are bright and shiny w/ no noticeable defects. Action is finished bright. Screw slots show use. Wood shows virtually all its oil refinish. Checkering is good, slightly dirty. Action is tight. Right bbl is very slightly off face. Top lever is slightly left of center. Ejectors are in time.
