48 STAR AMERICAN PARADE FLAG. 14″ x 16″. Printed silk flag. This appears to be an early 48 star flag with unusual canton with rows of five, eight, eight, seven, seven, eight, five stars. The 48 star commemorates the state of Arizona which became a state February 14, 1912. CONDITION: Overall excellent, bright colors, minor fraying at one edge. 4-53379 JS15 (400-600)
