OUTSTANDING ROSEWOOD BALL AND CLAW FOOT FOOTSTOOL. Probably India, British Colony origin. Lift out square cushion has been reupholstered in blue and gold striped upholstery. The base is pierce carved with scroll and leaf decoration supported by four cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet. Four carved scroll design supports terminate in a central hub with carved flower finial and decorative drop. SIZE: 18” h to top of cushion x 19” sq. CONDITION: Very good. 9-99039 (500-800)
