LOUIS XV STYLE CARVED GILTWOOD VITRINE. Second half 20th century. The ‘table’ form vitrine with square hinged-top, molded and with serpentine edges, inset with a conforming clear beveled glass top above the conforming frieze, each side fitted with clear glass, the aprons shell-carved, raised on thin angular cabriole legs with cast-brass sabots. SIZE: 29-1/2″ h. x 21″ sq. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: Re-gilt. Retains original glasses and silk liner. 9-93373 (500-800)
