37 STAR AMERICAN FLAG. 96″ x 160″. Wool blended material with hand-sewn cotton stars with canton hemmed on reverse to show stars from obverse. The 37th star commemorates the state of Nebraska which became a state in 1867. This flag was used from July 4, 1867 to July 3, 1877. CONDITION: Hoist is simple hemmed over edges, colors are brilliant, scattered mothing does not effect esthetics, some light staining to stars. 4-53402 JS45 (500-1,000)
