SEVRES PAINTED TRINKET BOX WITH ORMOLU DECORATION. Late 19th/Early 20th Century. Of circular form,the lid with central paint decorated and gilt heightened, convex, rondele within a cast brass surround of garlands fitted to the conforming porcelain base with floral decorated interior the exterior with polychrome painted panels applied with gilt floral swags mounted with cast brass upper and lower rings, raised on scrolled, classical feet. The base rim marked “FRANCE” also with a late Sevres mark in underglaze blue. SIZE: 3-1/4″h x 5″ dia. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with original surfaces and good patina. 9-94442 (300-500)
