44 STAR AMERICAN FLAG. 8-1/2′ x 14-1/2′. Commercially made wool bunting flat with dbl appliqued cotton stars and 2″ canvas hoist. The 44th star commemorates the state of Wyoming which became a state in 1891. This flag was used from 1891 to 1896. CONDITION: Excellent overall with minor scattered mothing, excellent bright colors. 4-53386 JS46 (400-600)
