PORCELAIN AUSTRIAN FIGURAL TWO PIECE COMPOTE. Bottom section having two maidens on each side of a grape decorated trunk. One wearing a red dress, the other a gold dress. They stand on a four footed reticulated round base which has impressed mark underneath “Made in Austria”. Also a red mark with shield and crown marked “Vienna E W”. Top bowl shaped piece in gold, green and beige has fruit motif with vines in a reticulated edge. Compote fits into the top of the trunk and will spin if desired. SIZE: 15” h x 10” dia. CONDITION: Bottom edge of one leaf on trunk is chipped and painted. Otherwise very good. 9-28728 (400-600)
