*OUTSTANDING WINCHESTER PRE-64 MODEL 70 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. SN 431105. Cal. 375 H&H. 25″ bbl, serrated ramp with silver bead sight front and hood, 2-leaf rocker rear sight with left side of bbl marked “Made in New Haven, Conn. U.S. of America/Winchester Proof Steel-Winchester/Trademark-Model-70-375 H&H Magnum”. Magnum model 70 receiver with Winchester/Trademark on left side, type 3 safety, hollow bolt handle, Redfield 1-pc base, topped with Leupold vari X III 1.5 x 5 matte finish scope, standard duplex and Butler Creek scope cover. Mounted in straight grain walnut, checkered side panel forend, checkered pistol grip, Monte Carlo, Winchester solid red recoil pad and closed loop sling swivels. Accompanied with a MacMillan synthetic stock that appears basically new with straight comb and black Pachmyr Decelerator pad and detachable sling swivel studs. This stock comes with orig box. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl and receiver on gun retains 97-98% orig blue with some minor handling marks on bbl and blue just starting to thin on bolt handle. Floorplate and trigger guard retain most of their orig blue with some minor light scratches and handling marks. Stock is sound with orig finish and just a few small marks can be found in the finish. Mechanics are crisp with a bright shiny bore as gun appears to have seen only a little use.
