LOT OF THIRTEEN EARLY REMINGTON CHECKS. These thirteen Remington checks are all dated 1852-1854 and are signed by “E. Remington & Sons” and are made payable in amounts ranging from $25.00 to $1,300.00. They are two different colors, a pale blue & a pale yellow and are not uniform in size. Appear to have been hand cut. CONDITION: Fine. No foxing with minor soil on one or two of them. Each of them has an “X” cut through the middle, apparently the method of canceling a check back then. 4-51214 JR824 (500-1,000)
