38 STAR AMERICAN FLAG. 28″ x 46″. Printed wool bunting flag. Canton exhibits large central star surrounded by fifteen stars in circle, surrounded by twenty-four stars in a square. This is a rarely encountered canton configuration commemorating the state of Colorado which became a state in 1876. CONDITION: Flag is heavily mothed with a couple of reductions as large as 1″ x 2″. 4-53378 JS37 (500-1,000)
