*SCARCE CASED A. FRANCOTTE 2-BBL SET RIFLE & SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. and 9.3X74R. SN 21715. Beautiful Belgian made combination set with 28″ shotgun bbls choked FULL/MOD with matted ventilated rib & sgl bead with maker’s name in a panel toward rear end. Top bbl also has importer’s name “ATLANTA – OUTFITTERS – GEORGIA”. Bbls have ejectors with dbl under bite and sgl selective trigger. Selector is Browning style in the top tang mounted safety. Rifle bbls are 23-1/2″ with ramp front sight & hand matted quarter rib with fixed sight & maker’s name in a panel. These bbls also have dbl under bite with ejectors. Both sets of bbls are set up for the 3-pc forearm with panels attached to the sides & a sgl bottom piece. Receiver is case colored with very beautiful, very fine, highly detailed raised gold whitetail buck head on left side, a Big Horn sheep head on right side & an antelope head on bottom, surrounded by about 50% coverage foliate arabesque patterns. Mounted with highly figured streaky French walnut with full checkered forearm & pistol grip stock with raised teardrop side panels, 14-3/8″ over a checkered butt. Accompanied by a fine, green, canvas & leather, green, felt-lined trunk case compartmented for all three pcs. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Bore restrictions: top – .031, bottom – .013. Wall thickness: top – .034, bottom- .032. Bore diameter: top – .582, bottom – .602. Weight: 6 lbs. 9.6 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Nearly new, may be unfired with bbls retaining virtually all of their strong orig factory blue. Receiver retains virtually all of its brilliant factory case colors, slightly faded on bottom.
