ANTIQUE WALTERSHAUSEN CANOPY BED & ACCESSORIES. Circa 19th Century. Four post canopy Waltershausen (Boulle) bed having gold transfer work on sides with none on headboard and footboard. Bed is completed with blue silk bed hangings and matching bed coverings and pillow. Accessories include a large ormolu chandelier with six Bristol glass globes (possible replacements), a fancy 13 piece gold tea set and two ormolu framed prints. SIZE: Tallest is 8″. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Good. Gold paper trim covering fabric on canopy seems to be a replacement, bed is wrapped in gauze that we believe has been added. Headboard and footboard do not have gold transfer work, the tall canopy posts are square and are possible replacements. Tea set is believed to be brass not ormolu. 1-8805-35 AM (800-1,200)
