Cal. 12 ga. 27-1/2″ bbls with tapered concave rib, single silver sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, IMP-CYL/MOD, articulated double triggers and ejectors, top of left bbl is marked “Abbiatico & Salvinelli”. The sidelock receiver is game scene engraved with partridge on left plate, pheasants on right and a pointer holding a pheasant in mouth on bottom with balance a fine foliate arabesque scroll. Triggerplate is signed “Corniti G. Marco Inc”. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, dropper points, finely checkered straight grip, checkered butt, checkered splinter forend with engraved metal tip release, and gold A&S shield with initials “GWB”. The date code “AF” identifies manufactured in 1980. Bore diameter: left – .727, right – .726. Bore restrictions: left – .013, right – .007. Wall thickness: left – .021, right – .022. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 8 oz. LOP 15″. Accompanied with leather luggage case with accessories and maker’s label. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 98-99% original blue with a few minor handling marks, silver receiver is sharp and crisp. Stock is sound with a few handling marks and nicks and dings and retains most of its original finish. Forend is sound with a couple of minor marks, sharp checkering and most of its original finish.
