SET OF TEN ‘LOUIS XVI’ STYLE CREAM PAINTED SIDE CHAIRS. First quarter 20th century. Each with rectangular padded back within a molded frame with floral crest, joined to the trapezoidal overupholstered seat, raised on fluted cylindrical legs on onion feet. Each chair cream painted overall with gilt highlights. SIZE: Each 37″ h. of back. CONDITION: Each retains original paint. Two upholstered in old rose velvet, eight with floral brocade. Some chairs with old repairs to rear legs at frame. Each retouched in those areas. 9-93738 (2,000-3,000)
