First set of bbls: 30″ solid hand filed tapered rib, single brass sighting bead, 3″ chambers, MOD/FULL choke and ejectors. Left side of bbl marked “FILI PIOTTI ITALY”. Left side of bottom bbl is marked “W.L. MOORE, WESTLAKE, CA”. Date code on bottom of bbl “BI” indicates manufacture 1997. Second set of bbls: 28″ solid hand filed tapered rib, single brass sighting bead, 3″ chambers, IMP. CYL/MOD. Similar markings as first set. 30″ bbls have a gold “1” at chamber end and 28″ have a gold “2”. The best quality sidelock receiver is engraved with intricate foliate arabesque scroll mixed with an outstanding flower design and “FILI PIOTTI” in arced ribbon on bottom. Left side has hidden thumbnail lever for detachable locks. Trigger plate is signed “CONTISSA”. Mounted with outstanding piece of highly colorful, highly figured walnut. Fine checkered round knob pistol grip, gold initial shield, checkered butt and full checkered thin, fluted forend. First set: bore diameter: top .725, bottom .725. Bore restrictions: top .030, bottom .022. Wall thickness: top .043, bottom .047. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 8lbs. 6oz. LOP 14-1/4″. Second set: bore diameter: top .726, bottom .725. Bore restrictions: top .013, bottom .005. Wall thickness: top .037, bottom .043. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 8lbs. 3oz.
