*WHITWORTH MAUSER RIFLE WITH SCOPE. SN B274723. Cal. .375 H & H. 24″ Round bbl is fitted with one standing, two folding express rear sight dovetailed through block screwed to top of bbl. Gold bead front sight is dovetailed through Williams type screwed on ramp. There is a clamp-on banded swivel mount on bbl. Left rear portion of bbl is stamped “.375 H & H Magnum”. 98 Mauser action is marked “Whitworth” in oval on top of receiver, and again on left side of ring. Left side wall is marked “Interarms” “Alexandria, Virginia” and “Manchester England”. CZ logo is stamped at rear. FN style bolt handle has checkered flattened portion at bottom of knob. Safety button is on right side beside bolt shroud. Bottom metal has hinged floorplate with button release in bow of trigger guard. Lightly streaked European walnut full pistol grip stock measures 14-1/16″ over brown Whitworth pad. Stock features large shadow line right hand cheekpiece, case hardened steel grip cap, ebonite forend tip, and approx. 20 LPI borderless checkering. Leupold Vari-X III 1.5 X 5 variable scope with duplex crosshair reticle is in Leupold rings, in Leupold one piece base. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-7/8″. Weight: 10 lbs. 1 oz, with sling and scope. LOP 14-1/16″. With gun is Uncle Mike’s leather sling in detachable loops.
