LOT OF THREE EARLY TIN PATENT MODELS. Includes two tin coffee pots; each with their patent labels. 1) By Scholle for a coffee boiler, June 8, 1869. The coffee boiler with blown out copper bottom that would sit in the opening of a cook stove. 2) Patent label reads “?. F. Sledman Coffee Pot Patented Sept. 14, 1869”. Cylindrical coffee pot with angle spout. Interior fitted with strainer device for coffee grounds. 3) Tin cook stove does not retain original patent office label but has an O. Rundle Gilbert Collection certification label that indicates that this was made by Charles Wood of Baltimore, Maryland and No. 134. This patent model depicts a flat-top cook stove with nine openings on top and two hinged ovens on either side. There are no lids or doors on the stove. SIZE: 1) Approx. 9″ h. 2) 8″ h. 3) 12″ w x 6-1/2″ d x 7″ h. CONDITION: 1) Lid missing and handle to bail unattached on one side. 2) Generally good. Label much soiled and stained. 3) Black japaned paint much worn. 1-9401 (400-700)
