Non-automatic safety. 29-3/4″ Barrels are engraved “Ivo Fabbri – Brescia -” on left side top, and “Vacuum arc remelting steel” on right. Full length flat checkered ventilated rib w/ gold bead ivory front sight. Bottom bbl has Italian proofs for 70mm chambers. Beautifully sculpted and filed action has 100% coverage of very well executed relief open scroll and acanthus engraving w/ stippled background, and has “Ivo Fabbri” and “Brescia” in two ribands on bottom of action. Engravers signature “Inc, C. Tomasoni” is on the trigger plate. Back action hand detachable side locks are fitted w/ hidden screws. Blued trigger guard has matching engraving w/ SN “E628″ at grip. Beautifully marbled and figured European walnut full pistol grip buttstock measures 14-5/8″ over orig 1-3/8″ ebonite extension, w/ checkered butt and relief engraved heel and toe plates, featuring a vacant gold oval, and relief engraved pistol grip cap, and flawless borderless 30 LPI checkering. Semi Beavertail forend has an Anson release, w/ 80% wraparound checkering to match buttstock. Bore diameter: top -.729, bottom -.729. Bore restrictions: top -.030, bottom -.025. Wall thickness: top -.030, bottom -.030. Drop at heel: 1-5/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/4”. Weight: 7 lbs 10oz. Leather CASE has stitched leather corners. Maroon cloth interior. Accessories include a 2-pc rosewood cleaning rod, snap caps, oil bottle, leather case containing cleaning implements, and unmounted Fabbri label. Comes in muslin lined canvas outer cover. CONDITION: Excellent, near new. Bbls retain virtually all of their black. Action shows only the slightest silvering on the left bead and top tang. Breech faces show some use. Stocks look new.
