Cal. 12 ga. 32″ bbl hand filed vent rib with single ivory sighting bead, 3″ chambers, IMP-MOD/IMP-MOD choke, single trigger and ejectors. Date code “AE” indicates 1979 manufacture. Right side of bbls marked “BOEHLER SUPER BLITZ STEEL” and left side “IVO FABBRI-BRESCIA ITALY”. Sidelock frame is relief engraved in a flower and floral vine scroll spewing from a mythical lion-like animal on each sideplate with fine vine and flower pattern on bottom and two semi-nude female angels. All of this is done with a black shaded background. Trigger plate is signed “INC C. TOMASONI”. Mounted with a select streaky walnut with fine checkered pistol grip, a 1″ ebony checkered buttplate with engraved heel and toe plates. Blank gold initial shield, checkered fluted field style forend with engraved metal tip insert, engraved teardrop shaped escutcheons. Bore diameter: top .724, bottom .724. Bore restrictions: top .025, bottom .025. Wall thickness: top .035, bottom .035. Drop at heel: 1-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/8″. Weight: 8lbs. 8oz. LOP 14-3/4″. Accompanied with oak and leather case and access. with brown canvas cover with leather corners. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl retains 99% of its fine blue, receiver is a fine silver color with black background. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and virtually all of its fine hand rubbed finish. Forend is sound with fine, crisp checkering, a couple minor handling marks and virtually all of its fine hand rubbed finish. Mechanics are crisp with non-automatic safety.
