A magnificent Japaned secretary with great flower motifs and Japanese scenes inside and out. The top has an interior of several hand painted drawers with cubby holes as well as what looks like a drawer that pulls down to reveal a desk interior and three remaining drawers below. Included is a wonderful armoire with raised panel doors with scenes of a lady in a long dress and umbrella in a garden. A three-part folding screen with raised medallions on each panel consisting of paintings of country scenes and flowers. A sewing stand mounted on four curved legs with painting in slate blue. A demi-lune cabinet with hand painted scenes of a mother and child. Two-drawer serpentine chest on legs with a background of cream with blue and lavender flower decoration. A fine lady’s vanity with three drawers on curved legs. A side chair with pink silk upholstery with hand painted decoration around back and trim. Miniature wall hanging of a landscape scene with two children. A clock is mounted on the wall. SIZE: Overall box is 9″ t x 14-1/2″ w x 11-1/4″ d. Furniture is approx. 3-1/8″ to 7-3/4″ t.
