*EARLY BELGIAN BROWNING GRADE 1 SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 36975. Fine early Browning, 1954 production, with 26-3/8″ bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL, ventilated rib, sgl bead, ejectors & gold plated Browning sgl selective trigger. Mounted with nicely figured streaky French walnut with checkered rnd field style forearm & long tang semi-pistol grip rnd knob stock, 14-1/8″ over a Browning pressed horn buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Has been fired but very little. Bbls retain 98-99% strong bright orig blue. Receiver also retains 98-99% strong bright orig blue with only slight thinning around safety on top tang & some dulling on lower tang. Trigger retains about 85% orig gold wash. Wood is sound with a few very light scattered handling & use marks & retains virtually all of its orig factory varnish. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bores.
