*SCARCE KRIEGHOFF MODEL 32 SUPER CROWN GRADE OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN 4-BBL SET. Cal. 12 ga., 20 ga. & 28 ga. 410. SN 6214. Spectacular Krieghoff set with four sets of orig 28”bbls. The 12 ga. bbls have thin wall Briley screw chokes while the others are fixed chokes. The 20ga. & 28 ga. bbls are choked SKEET/SKEET and the 410 MOD/MOD. They are all matching numbered and dated “870”. The 12 ga. bbls apparently are the primary bbls with 2-3/4” chambers, while the other three sets are numbered “1”, “2” & “3” respectively and all three have 3” chambers. They all have flat, matted, ventilated ribs with Bradley, white ivory front beads and metal middle beads with ejectors & gold plated, adjustable, sgl selective trigger. Mounted with spectacular honey & chocolate, streaky, French walnut with extensively checkered, wrap-around, beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered side panels and rosewood grip cap with gold diamond inlay, 14-3/8” over a Kickeez pad. Receiver and all appended metal are fantastically engraved with deep relief vignettes on sides consisting of three raised gold flying quail and a raised platinum setter on left side with two raised gold flying ducks and a raised platinum fox on the right side with a raised gold crown on thumb lever and a larger raised gold crown on bottom. Also on bottom in flush gold is “KRIEFHOFF / MODEL 32”. Entire sides of the receiver have gold wire inlay. Bbls all have gold wire and arabesque pattern inlays over chambers with the caliber in gold at chamber ends of the ribs. Drop at heel: 1-3/4”, drop at comb: 1-1/4”. Weight with 12 ga. bbls: 8 lbs. 5.44 oz. Consignor states that this gun was examined by Dieter Krieghoff and veritied it as a genuine Super Crown. CONDITION: Accompanied by a fine aluminum Americase with compartments for the shotgun, forearm and all four sets of bbls with another compartment containing cleaning equipment and two spare 12 ga. chokes. CONDITION: Extremely fine, nearly new, has been fired but very little. Overall retains virtually all of its fine orig finish to both metal & wood with only a few very minor creases in stock finish.
