*SMITH & WESSON MODEL 1917 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 45 ACP. SN 79352. Usual configuration with 5-1/2” bbl, integral half moon front sight, commercial blue finish, with smooth walnut grips and a lanyard loop in the butt. This appears to have been a midnight requisition model as all the markings are removed from the butt and US Property marking from the bottom of the bbl. The serial numbers are located on the bottom of the bbl & back of the cylinder. CONDITION: As noted, otherwise very fine. Retains about 95% strong bright original blue. Grips & smooth and hand worn with light nicks & scratches. Crisp mechanics, bright shiny bore. 4-51168 JR958 (250-400)
