*CASED BELGIAN BROWNING GRADE 1 SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 1818F8. Fine Browning with 28″ bbls choked SKEET/SKEET, having a narrow flat ventilated rib with dbl beads, ejectors & gold plated sgl selective trigger. Receiver has standard early style Grade 1 engraving patterns. Mounted with very nicely figured walnut with checkered rnd field style forearm & rnd knob pistol grip stock with short tang & raised side panels, 13-3/4″ over a Browning waffle pad. Accompanied by a rnd corner, brown leatherette covered, tan fleece lined Browning case with white handle insert. Drop at heel: 2″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight: 6 lbs. 14.72 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Has been fired but very little. Retains virtually all of its bright orig factory finish to both metal & wood with only faint sharp edge wear. Wood is sound with some rubs on buttstock & a small scrape on forearm, otherwise retains its bright factory varnish. Crisp mechanics, bright shiny bores. 4-55514 JR167 (1,000-1,250)
