*RARE SMITH & WESSON VICTORY MODEL DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spcl. SN V85994. Standard Victory model with rare 2” bbl, gray parkerized finish with case colored trigger & hammer and smooth walnut grips with a lanyard loop in the butt. According to Smith & Wesson 1857-1945 by Neal & Jinks only 300 of these revolvers were produced for the U.S. Dept. of Justice and delivered through Army Ordnance. Accompanied by a black nylon holster. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains virtually all of what appears to be its original sand blast parkerized finish. Appears to be unfired with only one or two small spots of handling & storage marks. Hint of a cylinder line. Holster is fine. 4-51607 JR648 (1,000-1,500)
