*BROWNING CLASSIC OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN P33BC0051. Beautiful ultralight Browning with 26” bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with vent rib, sgl bead, ejectors & gold-plated sgl selective trigger. Mounted with very beautifully figured, center cut, American walnut with extensively checkered, schnable tip forearm with dot borders and straight grip stock with raised side panels, 14-1/8” over a Browning black composition buttplate. Receiver & appended metal are beautifully engraved by R. Wilmotte and signed on both sides of receiver. Engraving consists of large vignettes of a bird dog & flushing pheasant with another pheasant on left side and the legend on a ribbon “ONE OF FIVE THOUSAND” and the right side having a bird dog and two flushing quail with the bust of John Browning with “BROWNING CLASSIC” on a ribbon and the head of a quail on bottom, all surrounded by large foliate arabesque patterns, with coin finish. Accompanied by its orig Styrofoam lined, black, 2-pc cardboard box with decorative sleeve & owner’s manual. Bore diameter: top – .618, bottom – .618. Bore restrictions: top – .013, bottom – .007. Wall thickness: top – .032, bottom – .032. Drop at heel: 2-1/4”, drop at comb: 1-1/2”. Weight: 5 lbs. 15.68 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new, appears to be unfired. Retains virtually all of its beautiful orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Blue is bright & clean with crisp gray finish on receiver & appended metal and bright, clean wood finish.
