*SMITH & WESSON VICTORY MODEL DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spcl. SN V1170. Scarce early Victory model with 4” bbl, integral half moon front sight, standard trigger & hammer, with smooth walnut grips & lanyard loop in the butt. The finish is a light, fine gray/green parkerizing and the left side of the frame is marked “U.S.N. PROPERTY / NOD. 1543” (No indication of the meaning of this stamp). CONDITION: Very fine. Retains about 95% of this light original parkerized finish with muzzle & edge wear and a heavy cylinder line. Front & back straps are mixed with light patina and fine surface rust. There are some old dings around the left side of the bbl pin; good mechanics; bright shiny bore. 4-51687 JR586 (500-1,000)
