*BROWNING MIDAS GRADE OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 69520S7. Beautiful Browning with 26-3/8” bbls choked SKEET/SKEET with flat, matted, ventilated rib, dbl ivory beads, ejectors & gold plated, sgl selective trigger. Mounted with spectacular, burl & flame grain, center crotch cut walnut with checkered, field style, rnd forearm and long tang, flat knob stock with raised side panels & spear point checkering, 14-1/4” over a Browning black composition buttplate. Receiver is engraved by Arno and signed on both sides. Left side has three raised gold pheasants, right side three raised gold ducks & the bottom a raised gold quail, all surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns with stippled background. Triggerguard, opening lever & forend iron are engraved to match. This shotgun falls within the salt gun range and there appears to be a few spots of fine pitting where the wood touches the metal, especially around the lower rear edges of receiver. It is very likely that the wood is factory replacement and a factory restored finish accomplished during the recall. Bore diameter: top – .723, bottom – .726. Bore restrictions: top – .003, bottom – .008. Wall thickness: top – .034, bottom – .038. Drop at heel: 2-1/8”, drop at comb: 1-3/8”. Weight: 7 lbs. 2.88 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Retains virtually all of its fine factory finish to both metal & wood. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. 4-30208 JR193 (7,500-12,500)
