*CUSTOM BROWNING SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 51254S75. Spectacular custom Browning with 27-1/2” bbls choked FULL/IMP-MOD with Broadway style ventilated rib, Bradley white ivory bead, ejectors and gold-plated selective sgl trigger. Mounted with replacement spectacular, marble cake, honey & chocolate, circassian or French walnut with extensively checkered, large, rnd beavertail forearm & pistol grip stock with Monte Carlo comb and wood grip cap, 14-1/4” over an orig Browning trap pad. Receiver & forend iron are beautifully custom engraved by Mike Courant with large vignettes of two exquisitely detailed raised gold ruffed grouse on left side with grapes & leaves and a raised gold German shorthair pointer in a field scene on right side. Engraver’s signature is in the right vignette. Bottom has a very highly detailed flying woodcock. All vignettes are outlined with gold wire with a gold wire border around receiver and top tang. Forend iron & triggerguard are engraved to match with gold wire as is safety & top lever. Bore diameter: top – .727, bottom – .729. Bore restrictions: top – .039, bottom – .030. Wall thickness: top – .032, bottom – .035. Drop at heel: 1-5/8”, drop at comb: 1-1/4”. Weight: 7 lbs. 8.96 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls have been slightly trimmed, not affecting the chokes and retain most of their orig factory blue. Receiver & triggerguard retain about all of their fine custom finish.
