ANTIQUE FULL SIZE ROLLER ORGAN. This 19th Century barrel organ has a nice incised carved wood case with a painted screen panel on top depicting sailing vessel and cottages. Cast metal handles mounted on either side. The crank on the left side, mechanism plays ten tunes and is complete with a play card. Popular tunes include one of the most famous W.W.I. tunes produced “Over There” by James M. Cohen. The mechanism is driven by a large spring and features a bell attachment. Makers name marked on case is Mettez. SIZE: Approx 26″d x 59″ h. CONDITION: Refinished at one time. Structurally in generally good condition with a couple of small pieces of molding missing, plays. 1-27158 (1,000-3,000)
