ROCOCO REVIVAL ROSEWOOD CONSOLE, PROBABLY PHILADELPHIA. Mid-19th century. The terra cotta colored Breschia marble top with serpentine and molded edges above the conforming molded frieze, the corners and center deeply shell-carved, raised on molded frontal cabriole legs joined to an incurved shell- and foliate-carved stretcher, the legs terminating in scrolling snail feet. SIZE: 48″ h. x 42-1/2″ w. x 21″ d. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: In very good condition, with old polished surfaces.
