*SPECTACULAR BELGIAN BROWNING WATERFOWL SERIES MALLARD EDITION SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal 12ga. SN 8G4PM00011. Absolutely spectacular Belgian Browning with 28″ Vent rib bbls choked FULL/MOD dbl ivory beads, ejectors & Browning gold plated single selective trigger. Receiver has flat sides with rnd bottom edges & is fabulously hand engraved with very large oval vignettes of 2 deep relief raised gold mallards with a marsh background scene on the left side & 2, different position, deep relief raised gold mallards with a pond scene in the background on the right side. Bottom has 2 additional deep relief raised gold mallards with ribbon inlaid in gold “AMERICAN MALLARD ANAS PLATYRHYNCHOS” and a smaller ribbon inlaid in gold “011 of 500”. Trigger bow has a raised gold ducks head. Two side vignettes have a fine gold wire border & entire receiver & appended parts have full coverage deep relief foliate arabesque patterns. Forend iron & bbl reinforcements are engraved to match. It is mounted with extraordinary burled walnut with field style checkered rnd forearm with rnd knob, long tang semi-pistol grip stock 14-1/4″ over a skip line checkered butt. Accompanied by its orig 2-pc Styrofoam lined black cardboard box with owners manual. CONDITION: Extraordinarily Fine. As new.
