*BROWNING DIANA GRADE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 369J76. Beautiful Belgian made field gun with 28” bbls choked FULL/MOD with flat, matted, ventilated rib, sgl bead, ejectors & gold-plated sgl selective trigger. Mounted with exceptionally fine, center crotch cut, flame grain, checkered Claro walnut with extensively checkered, rnd field forearm and long tang, square knob, pistol grip stock with raised side panels, 14-1/4” over a Browning black composition buttplate. Receiver & all appended metal are French gray finished and engraved in typical Diana patterns of five pheasants on left side, four ducks on right side, two quail on bottom and two rabbits on trigger bow. Both side vignettes are signed “C. Baerten”. Unable to gauge bore diameter, bore restrictions & wall thickness. Drop at heel: 1-7/8”, drop at comb: 1-1/4”. Weight: 6 lbs. 10.56 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus, has been fired but very little. Appears new, retaining virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood with clean bright checkering having no hand grease.
