ASSOCIATED ROCOCO REVIVAL MAHOGANY AND WALNUT SEVEN-PIECE PARLOR SUITE. Circa 1860. Consisting of a matching floral-carved sofa, gentleman’s chair, and lady’s chair in the manner of Elijah Galusha, New York; together with a set of four matching mahogany floral-carved side chairs. SIZE: Sofa: 78″ l. x 38″ h. of back. Gent’s chair: 44-1/2″ h. Lady’s chair: 43-1/2″ h. Side chair: 36-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From a fine Beacon Hill, Massachusetts and Thomaston, Maine estate. CONDITION: Very good original condition, retaining original surfaces with very good patina and color. Some minor losses to flower petals. One side chair needs reattachment of upholstered back panel.
