LIZETTE PARAVICINI (American, 1889-) THE PICKET FENCE. Oil on board scene shows a Colonial house near a bridge framed by large trees which cast shadows on the slate roof. A pink blossoming bush is at both corners of the building. Unsigned front but pencil identified on reverse. Also stamped “Registered at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Chester Springs, PA Jul 24″. Housed in a period carved and gilt wood frame. SIZE: 11″ x 15”. CONDITION: Minor inpainting, very good. 9-95692 (300-500)
