KAMMER AND REINDHARDT CHARACTER DOLL KNOWN AS MARIE. Largest size made of this particular model head incised “K*R 101 50″, with excellent facial modeling, blue painted eyes with separately molded eyelids and black eye liner. Mounted on a period German wood and composition body with voice box mechanism contained in the torso, with momma-poppa pull strings. Appropriately re-costumed in a 1910 style cream wool pleated dress with puffed sleeves, honey blond wig and antique black stockings. SIZE: 19-1/2” (50cm). CONDITION: There has been a restoration and air brushing to the neck socket of the head. Body in very good condition with original finish varnish to hands slightly more yellow than rest of body. 1-7879 (1,500-2,000)
