ONE-OF-A-KIND “TWILBY” BELL TOY BY IVES, BLAKESLEE & WILLIAMS CO. A sensational bell toy depicting a woman on a cast iron enameled base. When pulled on the floor, the moveable circular “paddle” under the woman’s feet flaps up and down, causing the bell to ring and the woman to dance. The figure is identical to many other figures used on Ives toys, and overall construction and quality are similar to the Ives “WASHER WOMAN” SIZE: 8”. CONDITION: Overall condition extremely fine, composition arms have been repainted. JL 1-4065 (12,000-15,000)
