*LOT OF 2 REFINISHED REVOLVERS. 1) Colt Model 1877 Thunderer Revolver. Cal. .41 LC. SN 124369. 6″ rnd bbl. Standard markings, completely refinished. Modern pearl grips. 2) Whitney Navy Revolver. Cal. .36. SN A4070. 7-5/8″ oct bbl. Replaced cylinder pin latch mechanism. Entirely refinished. Initials “E.B.” scratched in left grip, part of it on the replaced rear portion. There are 12 filed marks on the right grip. CONDITION: 1) Retains most of the overall blue finish. The grips are fine. The action works. 2) Retains most the blue finish but the red tinged finish on the frame is about 30% gone. The repaired grips have been sanded and refinished and are undersized.
