*BROWNING DIANA GRADE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 55547V9. Spectacular over/under with 26-3/8″ bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with narrow matted ventilated rib, single bead, ejectors and single selective trigger. It has extremely beautiful, highly figured, walnut wood with rnd field style forearm and short tang square knob stock, 14-1/4″ over its orig Browning black composition buttplate. The receiver is French gray and engraved in typical Diana patterns consisting of five pheasant in a woodland scene on the left side, four ducks in a marsh scene on the right side, two flying quail on the bottom and two rabbits on the trigger bow. The engraving is signed below the left vignette by master engraver “J. Baerten”. While this shotgun falls within the serial & year ranges for salt guns this one has been tested and guaranteed to be salt free with no damage whatsoever. Accompanied by a black-hinged lid Browning box with Styrofoam lining for another gun. CONDITION: As new, may have been fired, but if so very little. Retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal and wood. Checkering appears new with no handling soil whatsoever. Stock has a small scratch and one or two tiny handling marks, otherwise everything appears new. Forearm had a small handling gouge which was repaired by factory restoration artist & is now completely undetectable. 8-87424 (10,000-12,000)
