REMINGTON NEW MODEL POLICE CONVERSION REVOLVER. Cal. 38 RF. SN 14768. Usual configuration with 4-1/2″ oct bbl, German silver half moon front sight, brass trigger guard and nicely figured 2-piece walnut grips. It has usual factory conversion with conversion number “1380” on the cylinder and conversion plate. CONDITION: Very fine, the bbl retains 95-96% glossy bright original blue. The frame retains 75% original blue, flaked to light patina in the lost areas. The grip frame retains traces of original blue. The cylinder retains about 85% blue and the grips are sound with about 90% varnish. Crisp mechanics, bright shiny bore with moderate pitting at the chamber end. The rammer latch stud hole is drilled into the bore. 4-53474 JR865 (800-1,200)
