GREEN PERCUSSION DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 bore. NSN. English made double with 27” Damascus bbls, smooth concave rib with sgl bead marked on top “Green, Canterbury”. Mounted in a very highly figured, 1-pc, French walnut stock with checkered wrist and smooth steel buttplate with long stepped tang. It has peninsula back action locks that are very nicely engraved in foliate arabesque patterns. Hammers are engraved to match with dolphin motif noses & spurs. It has a long iron triggerguard with engraved pineapple finial and an engraved bird dog on the bow. Buttplate tang, top tang & breech plug are engraved to match. Weight: 6 lbs. 15.04 oz. CONDITION: Fair to good. No orig finish remains being a mottled silver/brown patina with scattered areas of orig pattern and with fine pitting around nipple areas. Stock is sound showing heavy wear with a fine hand worn patina. Mechanics are fine. 4-30218 JR200 (750-1,250)
