VICTORIAN DECORATED “GONE WITH THE WIND” LAMP. Second half 19th century. The pink-to-cream globe shade paint-decorated with roses, fitted to the “WRIGHT & BUTLER DUPLEX” burner and reservoir, fitted to a painted pottery base modeled with floral sprays, not dissimilar to the early work of Mary Louise McLaughlin and Maria Longworth Nichols Storer. Raised on a cast-brass circular base. SIZE: 10-1/2″ h. of base. 10″ h. of shade. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: All in good original condition.
