LOT OF ANTIQUE FOOD ON PLATTERS. Circa 19th Century. Eight pieces including two exceptionally fine antique food on pedestal compotes; one on a compote with handle and one of a cake on a stand as well as four plates of food consisting of rolls, deserts, large piece of cake and a bowl of fruit. SIZE: Largest is 3-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: The antique food is very good to excellent, the four pedestal compotes have asphaltum (brown wash) on the undersides which appear to be of later origin. 1-8805-8 AM (500-750)
