ROOKWOOD LAMP BASE. Rare Rookwood lamp base has background glaze of light salmon at foot shading to dark salmon at top with an overshot of mottled blue-gray speckling at shoulder and neck. Decorated with purple flowers and green leaves under a matte glaze. Marked on bottom with Rookwood flame mark and “XXXIII” and impressed “2900”. Piece is also impressed with “RP” mark on side of base, near foot. SIZE: 9-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-70094 (1,600-2,000)
