ONE STERLING & ONE SILVER PLATED COMPOTE BY GAB. 1. A large 7-3/4″ x 9″ sterling compote with tapering bowl supported by a pierced shaft with leaf and scroll design on a round base. Compote is monogrammed. The base is marked “Sterling GAB Sweden”. 2. A 5-1/2″ x 7″ silver plated compote marked on the bottom “Sweden 830S GAB A3”. Weight of the sterling compote 21 troy ounces. PROVENANCE: From a fine Augusta, Maine Estate. CONDITION: Sterling compote is very good to excellent. Silver plated compote has some loss to plating and leans slightly. 5-66822 (800-1,200)
